CREATING A FRESH NEW
VIBE FOR A BARRE STUDIO

THE CHALLENGE

Barrefit, a new Barre studio, approached us for help with rebranding and social media content creation after they found our work on Instagram and appreciated our personal branding and social media management. Barrefit had recently acquired an existing studio, Barre2Barre, and needed a complete rebrand, including a new logo, brand identity, and social media presence. While they had been working with an independent designer for their logo, they were unsatisfied with the drafts and sought fresh ideas. Additionally, customers found it challenging to locate the studio, so Barrefit required updated and effective wayfinding videos.

THE SOLUTION

Branding & Logo Design

After initial discussions, we pitched a rebranding strategy that encapsulated the essence of Barre and fitness. Drawing inspiration from the ballet aspect of Barre, we subtly incorporated this into the logo by designing the "F" in Barrefit to resemble a ballet shoe, symbolizing both grace and strength. We collaborated closely with the Barrefit team to establish a cohesive brand identity, selecting a color palette, visual elements, and fonts that best represented the studio's vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. We also created a memorable tagline, "Get Fit. Hit the Barre," to resonate with their target audience.

Social Media & Content Strategy

With the visual branding established, we took over Barrefit's Instagram, creating and curating content that aligned with their new brand identity. We shot and edited videos for reels and photos of their classes and events, ensuring that all content was visually consistent with the new branding. The photos and videos were edited with a bright and clean aesthetic to match the studio's fresh new look.

To ensure consistent and engaging social media presence, we developed a social media calendar and content plan based on Barrefit's requests, including class types and package promotions. We also produced an introductory reel that profiled the owners, adding a personal touch and face to the brand.

For the wayfinding challenge, we streamlined the studio's wayfinding videos, enhancing their visual appeal and making them easier to follow. These videos were designed to be in line with the new brand identity, ensuring a seamless experience across all platforms.

Additional Brand Elements

Beyond social media, we extended the new branding to other aspects of Barrefit's business. We redesigned their website, ensuring it reflected the new visual identity and offered a user-friendly experience. We also assisted in designing and producing merchandise, including t-shirts and muscle tank tops, incorporating the new logo and brand colors.

Further, we provided input on interior design elements within the studio, creating a branded montage entrance wall that served as both a welcoming focal point and a reinforcement of the brand identity.

THE RESPONSE

The rebranding and content strategy yielded positive results. The owners were thrilled with the new logo and overall branding, appreciating the fresh and cohesive visual identity. Since taking over their Instagram, we have grown Barrefit's following by 200 followers, significantly increasing organic engagement and reach.

Existing customers have also responded positively, noting the new vibe and visuals on Barrefit’s social media. The updated wayfinding reels have effectively reduced confusion about the studio’s location, as evidenced by fewer customer complaints regarding this issue.

The successful rebranding and content strategy have not only elevated Barrefit’s brand presence but have also strengthened their connection with both existing and potential clients, setting a solid foundation for their continued growth and success.
